Is Brother Bagman a jam band? An alternative band? A prog-rock band? Well dude, we just don't know. This quartet out of Kansas City is an eclectic rock and roll stew for the masses. On every stage they play, the message gets through. Brother Bagman comes to play, and they want people to get down.

Drawing upon a wide range of influences, the group strives to transcend musical boundaries and carve out their own distinct sound. Their high-energy music mixes reggae, jazz and rock rhythms. Their influences include, but are not limited to, Widespread Panic, Radiohead, Wilco, North Mississippi Allstars, Little Feat and anything else that moves the soul.

Brother Bagman has been playing regionally throughout the midwest. They have just released their first album "notorious b.a.g.", and will begin work on their second album in January of 2004. You can find the band continuing to grow their musical presence by playing to live audiences as much as possible.
