Pete Holly

Starting in the 1970\'s and 1980\'s Holly lead the garage band \"Pete Holly
and the Look\'s\".Some of the songs on his first solo CD \"The Wizard of
Garage\"-1999 come from this period while other songs on it come from
the post-look\'s years that followed including tracks up untill 1996.His
second solo CD \"Riverside Drive\" was mainly songs post 1996 and
were influenced more by Hip-Hop sounds and Contemporary Bands
of that time.It also saw Holly taking control of nearly every aspect of the
Cd from Production to playing all the instruments and engineering it.
His third Cd \"III\" was a modern version of phil spectors wall of sound
mixed with the flavor of New Metal but it also included \"Oh Polly\" a
traditional American song and \"Heart of Gold\" a very psychadelic love
song with touching and romantic lyrics{Holly Directed a complex video to accompany the tune}.The 4rth Holly solo outing in 2006 was mix of his
ambiant piano music and back to basics acoustic & electric music \"The
Morrison Center Session\".2008 saw \"Pete Holly Live in Berkeley\"-DVD..
